Revolving around historical questions of labor, disciplinary crossover, and iconoclastic approaches to printing technology, this conversation between curators Gary Carrion-Murayari (New Museum) and Kim Conaty (Museum of Modern Art) with Dutch designer Karel Martens continues the inquiry of Martens’ letterpress monoprints since the 1950s. These prints are presented as part of the exhibition Process 01: Joy, on view at P!.
